时基艺术初探

Time-based Art Exploration

通常我们将美术作品分为二维作品和三维作品,二维作品即绘画、摄影等在二维平面空间中表现的作品;三维作品即雕塑、建筑等三维空间中的作品。而时基艺术这个概念则将美术扩展到了四维空间,即包括了时间的参与和观众的感知。目前,如纽约现代艺术博物馆、古根海姆美术馆、伦敦泰特美术馆等西方艺术机构都已将时基艺术列为和绘画、雕塑、摄影等传统媒介同样的常规艺术媒介,而在中国大陆地区"时基艺术"对大多数公众还是一个相对陌生的概念。

Generally,we divide art works into two dimensional works and three dimensional works.Two dimensional works,which namely painting and photography,are represented in flat space,Three-dimensionaal works,which namely sculpture and architecture,are represented in three-dimensional space.The concept of time-based art has extended the Art to four dimensions,namely the participation of time and the perception of the audience. At present,such as the museum of modern art in New York,Guggenheim museum and Tate Gallery,have been ranked time-based art as a normal media suchas painting,sculpture,.photography,while in China's Mainland timebased art for the majority of the public is still a relatively new concept.
