Urban roads along river usually have strong traffic functions,as well as flood control channels and landscape avenues.This paper refines and studies the special considerations of traffic organization,humanized design,roadbed and pavement design,municipal pipeline design,landscape design and so on,summarizes some experiences and matters needing attention in road design along river,and provides some valuable references for high-quality road design along river.
