China launched the Haiyang-i C (HY-IC)satellite into its preset orbit on a LM-2C carrier rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center at I 1:15 Beijing time on September 7. HY-IC was developed by the DFH Satellite Co.,Ltd under the China Acad- emy of Space Technology (CAST).It is the first launched satellite of China's marine satellites in the 12th Five-Year of the National Civil Space Infrastructure,as well as the third satellite of China's water color series sateUite.
