Effect of Ni Element Addition on Structure and Mechanical Properties of Zr-Cu-Based Bulk Metallic Glass

摘要 利用铜模吸铸法制备了(Zr0.48Cu0.36Ag0.08Al0.08)100-xNix(x=0,2,4,6)非晶合金试样,利用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、透射电镜(TEM)、差示扫描量热仪(DSC)、万能力学试验机和场发射扫描电镜(SEM),研究了Ni元素添加对(Zr0.48Cu0.36Ag0.08Al0.08)100-xNix(x=0,2,4,6)结构及力学性能的影响。结果表明:随Ni添加量的提高,该合金内部原子排列有序度提高,非晶形成能力下降,相分离增强并析出纳米级晶体相;晶体相的析出提高了合金的塑性应变、屈服强度和断裂强度。 (Zr0.48Cu0.36Ag0.08Al0.08)100-xNix (x=0, 2, 4, 6) alloys were prepared by copper mold casting method. The effects of Ni addition on the strucrure and mechanical properties of Zr-Cu based bulk metallic glasses were investigated by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), universal testing machine and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that with the increase of Ni addition, the order degree of atomic arrangement in the alloys increases, the glass forming ability reduces, but the phase separation enhances and the nano-crystalline phase precipitates, and thus, due to the precipitation of crystal phase, the plastic strain, yield strength and fracture strength of the alloys improve.
