In 2016,the Chinese Medical Association of Rheumatology issued a new edition of the guideline of gout diagnosis and treatment.The guideline,based on the best clinical evidence,combined with the experience of experts,made twelve recommendations, not only adopted the international most advanced technology and methods,but also more suitable for the actual diagnosis and treatment needs of the gout patients in China.In this two years it provided a lot of guidance for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of gout.We reread the guideline carefully and share our deep understanding of its contents.
