State Grid: shaping a luminous network connecting the world

2018年11月,由国家电网有限公司(以下简称“国家电网”)承担的埃塞俄比亚-肯尼亚±500千伏直流输电工程埃塞段输电线路项目全部完工,这条被称为“东非电力高速公路”的输电线路是非洲大陆首条跨国直流输电联网工程,将成为埃塞俄比亚清洁能源输出的重要通道,助力肯尼亚、乌干达、坦桑尼亚、卢旺达等国家的经济社会发展和民生改善。埃方媒体评论到,中国为我们培养了许多电力基础设施建设的技术人才,带来了世界一流的建设标准。

Since its establishment in 2002,State Grid has taken the initiative to shoulder the mission for centrally-administered state-owned enterprises (central SOEs)of serving domestic economic and social development and "going global"in a more surefooted manner at the same time.With a total investment of USD 19.6 billion in overseas projects ranging from construction of transnational electric power,operation of backbone energy networks in some countries and regions,to construction of overseas power grid,State Grid operates overseas assets worth up to USD 65.5 billion.
