有关隋唐长安城城门的几个问题

Several Issues Concerning City Gates of Chang'an Constructed during Sui-Tang Dynasties

本文基于考古调查发掘资料,结合历史文献记载,讨论了隋唐长安城在城门设置和形制方面,对《周礼·考工记》都城模式、汉魏南北朝都城城门传统的继承及五门道的创新之举,同时,对城门使用过程中的增缩改建、都城门阙及宫城门阙的有无及设置等关键问题也进行了探讨。

Basing on archaeological excavations and combining with historic literary records, in this article the author writes the city gates of the capital of Sui-Tang dynasties, Chang’an, whose construction, in terms of siting, shape and structure, inheriting city layout mentioned in Rites of Zhou: Record of Trades and conventions of city gate construction prevailing during Han, Wei, Southern and Northern dynasties. An innovation, building five doorways in a city gate, was also applied when the city gates of Chang’an were built. At the same time, the author probes into key issue such as the expansion, reduction, remolding of the city gates during utilization, and the existence and establishment of side towers at the city gates and palace gates.
