摘要 为了给学生提供良好的服务,教学必须成为真正的专业。教师表现性评价为教学成为真正的专业提供了一种重要的途径——通过真实地评价教学,展示教学的复杂性,提供能定义专业的标准。教师表现性评价是发展教师专业能力和提升教师候选人质量的关键策略。edTPA是第一个在全美范围内获得认可、针对教师候选人的表现性评价,它的研发与实施旨在促使教学成为真正的专业,引领和促进教师的培养与发展。实践表明,edTPA促进了教学实践,促使教师更自觉关注学生的学习。全面提高各级教育水平的最大希望,是教育工作者承担责任,并确保它反映出我们对自己以及对专业的最高期望。 For students to be well served, teaching must become a real profession. In this connection, teacher performance assessments offer an important alternative. By evaluating teaching authentically, these assessments represent the complexity of teaching and offer standards that can define an expert profession. Teacher performance assessment is a critical strategy to develop teachers’ expertise and improve the quality of teacher candidates. Ed TPA is the first recognized assessment system in the United States for teacher candidates. The research and implement of edTPA aim at developing teaching as a real formal profession, leading and promoting the training and development of teachers. Practice has shown that edTPA actually promotes practice of teaching and encourages teachers to pay more attention on students’ learning. The best hope for significantly improving education at all levels is for educators to take charge of accountability and ensure it reflects our highest aspirations for ourselves and our profession.
