BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE The benefits of cryotherapy after orthopedic surgeries such as total knee arthroplasty (TKA)are well-documented,and include reduced surgically-induced intra-articular inflammation,lower post-operative analgesia requirements and shortened post-operative lengths of stay.
