Construction of Bilingual Parallel Corpus on Counter-terrorist Tactics

在综合论述国内外双语平行语料库、尤其是军事双语平行语料库建设的前提下,收集武警部队反恐战法国际会议语料,设计和建设反恐战法双语平行语料库(CTTC),并着重论述了总体设计方案以及建设过程。该语料库的建设和应用,推动了军事英语教学、反恐领域翻译实践以及军事英语研究的不断深入和发展,具有重要的价值和意义。

Based on the comprehensive discussion of current bilingual parallel corpora,especially the construction of military parallel corpora at home and abroad,a bilingual parallel corpus,Counter-terrorist Tactics Corpus (CTTC)is designed and constructed on counterterrorist tactics from international conferences held by PAP,with the designing principles and the process of construction clarified.The construction and application of this corpus furthers the development of military English teaching and learning,translation practice in the counter-terrorist field,as well as researches concerning military English,for which it is of great value and significance.
