Diagnostic Value of MRI in Pathological Classification of Meningiomas

摘要 目的:探讨脑膜瘤MRI特征性影像表现与其病理分型的关系。方法:回顾性分析了经手术及病理学证实为脑膜瘤的107例影像资料。其中WHOⅠ型脑膜瘤87例,WHOⅡ型脑膜瘤20例,将Ⅰ型、Ⅱ型脑膜瘤的MRI影像资料进行对照分析。结果:不同分型的脑膜瘤在有无囊变、钙化、水肿、脑疝等方面差异均有统计学意义(P<0. 01),而在大小、形态、边缘方面差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:Ⅰ型、Ⅱ型脑膜瘤的MRI表现存在部分重叠,但通过肿瘤有无囊变、钙化、水肿及是否形成脑疝,对于Ⅰ型、Ⅱ型脑膜瘤的鉴别具有一定的价值。 Objective To explore the relationship between MRI characteristic imaging findings and pathological classification of meningioma. Methods The imaging data of 107 cases of meningioma confirmed by surgery and pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Among them,87 cases were WHO Ⅰ meningioma and 20 cases were WHO Ⅱ meningioma. The imaging data of type Ⅰ and Ⅱ meningiomas were compared and analyzed. Results There were significant differences in cystic change,calcification,edema,and brain herniation in different types of meningioma( P< 0.01),but there was no significant difference in size,morphology,and margin( P>0.05). Conclusion MRI manifestations of type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ meningioma overlap partially,but the presence or absence of cystic changes,calcification,edema,and formation of brain herniation may have certain value in differentiating type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ meningiomas.
