Killing Commendatore,the fourteenth long novel by Haruki Murakami,was published in Japan in February of 2017.The novel is reputed as"a long novel with real significance that is published seven years after Haruki Murakami published his last one".Same as his previous works,this novel continues to pay attention to social problems.It records reflections on wars,reappears the misery caused by wars and shows the attitude of reflection and the value as witness of history.Besides that,Killing Commendatore has revealed the elements of Haruki Murakami in an obvious way,as if it is the"secondary creation"of him.
