The basic profile of the 11^th ATCLST and presented papers in the 11^th AICLST congress were reviewed. The papers covered the following field :basic science,leather chemicals,clean technology of leather making,composite materials and utilization of leather waste,environmental protection technology of leather industry,new analysis and testing technology,enterprise management and sustainable development,intelligent manufacturing of leather,design innovation of leather goods etc.The convening of this conference will greatly promote the sustainable development of traditional leather industry and facilitate the upgrading and transformation of traditional industries.
