从修辞学的视角重新审视《讨粤匪檄》

Reanalysis of "Tao Yue Fei Xi" from a Rhetorical Perspective

长期以来,对曾国藩《讨粤匪檄》的研究都着重肯定这篇檄文所采取的话语策略的成功,即通过高举保护中国传统文化的大旗,来对抗太平天国拜上帝教。本文从修辞学视角重新审视这篇中国近代史上的重要文本,指出这篇檄文对于曾国藩而言是一把"双刃剑",虽然为之赢得了儒家学子的认同,却也令其遭到了清廷的猜忌防范。通过对《讨粤匪檄》这一面加以修辞分析,有助于深化我们对晚清政局中各方势力复杂博弈的认识。

As one of the most important texts in the modern history of China,Tao Yue Fei Xi has always been praised for its successful rhetorical strategy,which used the traditional Chinese culture against the God Worshiping Society of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.However,by carefullyreanalyzing this text from a rhetorical perspective,Tao Yue Fei Xi proved to be double-edged for Zeng Guofan.While Tao Yue Fei Xi did earn the identification of Confucian followers,it provoked the rulers of the Qing government.This study investigated the complex relationship behind the Tao Yue Fei Xi and further revealed the complicated interactions of the parties in the late Qing Dynasty.
