摘要
湖南瑶族织锦是至今仍保留经线起花起色工艺的"经锦"遗存,主要流传于湖南江华瑶族自治县和江永县的平地瑶族群中。瑶族织锦主要是用于被面,当地人又俗称织锦被为"八宝被"。在特殊的织造工艺与古老的瑶族文化影响下,瑶族织锦形成了独特的艺术风格。从其纹样类型上看,主要集中在文字、动物、植物以及许多未能明义的抽象几何纹样中;从其纹样造型上看,传统瑶族织锦形成了经向彩条并列、纹样以单元间隔的形式逐一排列的整体外观,其纹样的造型特点趋于强烈的几何化与抽象化。
Hunan yao brocade retains warp jacquard craft from Warp- patterned Brocade till now and distributed in the Pingdi Yao nationality of Jiang Hua, Jiang Yong.Yao brocade is mainly used for quilt ,the local people also known as brocade is "Bab ao Bei".Under the influence of special weaving process and ancient yao culture,hunan yao brocade has formed the unique style of art.The pattern type mainly concentrated in the words,animals,plants and many unmeaning geometrical patterns.At the same time,color bar in juxtaposition and patterns arranged one by one is the overall appearance of the traditional yao brocade. Thererfore,modeling characteristics of the yao brocade patterns tend to be geometric and abstracted.
