The banhen kite in Nantong is a unique kind of kite in the world,with flexible geometric modeling, enthusiastic and bold colors,and unique pronunciation whistle.The production technology of banhen kite is an important cultural heritage in China,which is worth protecting and inheriting.Based on the introduction of kites and their evolution history,the manufacturing process and development status of the Nantong sandpiper kite,this paper attempts to make a study on the folk art of Nantong sandpiper kite.
