功能性便秘(Functional Constipation,FC)是影响现代人生活质量的常见消化系统疾病,其病程长短及严重程度不等,常见表现为排便困难、粪便干结、便次减少等,FC不仅能引起肛裂、痔疮等病证,还能诱发和加重心脑血管疾病。近几年其发病率有增高趋势,老年人更易发病。通过对近年来有关功能性便秘西医治疗、中医治疗的一些文献进行分析、归纳和总结,对功能性便秘中西医治疗及进展进行阐述。

Functional constipation is a common digestive system disease which has influenced the living quality of modern people,its course and degree are various. It always shows the following symptoms such as having difficulty in cacation,hard and dry faeces,reducing the times of defecation and so on. FC can develop into anal fissure as well as haemorrhoids,etc,what's more,it can cause and aggravate cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. During these years,the morbidity of FC has the tendency of increasing,the old are prone to be attacked. By analyzing,concluding and summarizing the literatures in recent years,which are of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treantment of FC,we can expound the progress of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of FC.
