Wang Xiaodong,a pipa performer lives in Japan,is an outstanding representative of contemporary Chinese pipa musicspread.In the creation,performance and teaching practice of Chinese Pipa music in Japan,he always insisted on combining the inherent charm and cultural tradition of Chinese Pipa music with Japanese music reality and music aesthetics,making a unique contribution to the eastward spread of Chinese Pipa music to Japan and setting an example for the overseas spread of Chinese music culture.
