Highlights of Professor LI Bainian's Experience in Treating Anorectal Diseases with Wind-dispelling Drugs

李柏年教授认为,肛肠病多与风、寒、燥、湿、瘀等病理因素关系密切,尤以风邪为主,常兼夹为患。"风中肠腑"是导致肛肠病的重要病机,故其临床善以风药治疗肛肠病。盖风药流行肺气,拨转中焦枢纽;疏风行气,清化肠道壅热;宣化胜湿,风行湿浊自除;疏风润燥,增济肠道河川。文章阐释"风中肠腑"之病因病机及李柏年教授临证活用风药经验,以期为肛肠病的治疗提供一种新方法。

Professor LI Bainian argues that anorectal diseases are often closely associated with wind,cold,dryness,dampness,stasis and other pathologic factors,especially dominated by wind-evil and often accompanied by other symptoms."Windevil attacking intestine"is an important pathological mechanism leading to anorectal diseases.That’ s why wind-dispelling drugs are frequently used in treating anorectal diseases in clinic.Therefore,wind-dispelling drugs can promote lung Qi circulation and mobilize middle-Jiao center,dispel wind and promote Qi circulation and eliminate intestinal heat congestion;eliminate damp turbidity by promoting wind-evil circulation,expel wind and moisturize dryness to enhance and support intestinal channels.This article explains the pathogenesis and pathological mechanism of"wind-evil attacking intestine",as well as Professor LI Bainian’s experience in making flexible use of wind-dispelling drugs in the treatment of anorectal diseases in clinical practice,hoping to provide a new method of treating anorectal diseases.
