历史上对北宋宰相王钦若的评价贬多褒少,且由于他长相不雅,颈脖上长有肉瘤,被世人称为"瘿相"。但通观其一生,王钦若固然有不少不义之举,不过也有一些恻隐善良之为。在为政方面,其政治才能有独到的一面,也做了一些益政利民的事情。细细品味和深入探讨王钦若身上的是与非,可见他虽然很难算得上是磊落正直之臣,但也不像后人所贬损的那样是个一无是处、十恶不赦的无耻之臣,而是凭着自己的才干和智巧,在伴君如伴虎的时代里求得最好生存权的乖离之相。

In history,the evaluation of Wang Qinruo,the prime minister of the Northern Song Dynasty,was more negative than positive.And because of his indecent appearance with a sarcoma on his neck,he was called"yingxiang"by the world.However,throughout his life,Wang Qinruo had a lot of unrighteous actions,but he also did some good deeds.In terms of politics,he had unique talents and did some things that benefited the government and the people.Through in-depth analysis of Wang Qinruo’s positiveness and negativeness,we can see thatthough he was hard to be regarded as a straightforward and honest minister,he was not a shameless minister who was nothing and evil as the descendants derogate,but a prime minister obtaining the best survival right by virtue of his own talents and intelligence in the era of accompanying a king just like accompanying a tiger.
