On the Practice of “Red Theory” Popularization among College Students in the Background of “Extensive Learning”

"大学习"是习近平总书记在新一届中央政治局第一次集体学习时提出的新理念,是中国特色社会主义新时期建设的重要思想之一,是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的重要组成部分,旨在号召人民群众积极运用社会资源进行有深度、有广度、有高度的自我教育。青年大学生是祖国的未来,民族的希望,也是实现中国梦的主力军,加强对青年大学生的红色基因教育,用红色理论宣讲熔铸理想信念是高校思想政治工作的核心,也是各高校的工作宗旨。因此,在新时代的召唤下,我们必须树立"大学习"的理论自觉,遵循"大学习"的实践要求,不断促进青年大学生红色理论宣讲事业的创新性发展。

"Extensive Learning"is a new concept put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping during the first collective study session of the new Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,and is one of the important ideas assumed in the new period of socialism with Chinese characteristics.It is an important component of Xi Jinping’s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,aimed at calling on the people to actively use social resources to carry out in-depth,extensive,and high-level self-education.Young college students are the future of the nation,the hope of the nation and the main force to realize Chinese Dream.It is the core of the ideological and political work in universities to strengthen the socialism-centered education of the young college students and to shape their ideals and beliefs through the red theory popularization.Therefore,under the call of the new era,we must set up the theoretical consciousness of"Extensive Learning",follow its practical requirements,and constantly promote the innovative development of the"Red Theory"popularization among young college students.
