改革开放以来,广东人大胆探索,勇于创新,形成了具有鲜明时代意义的广东人文精神,极大地促进了改革开放的顺利进行。人文精神的建设是一个动态的过程,从"敢为人先、奋发向上、团结友爱、自强不息"的"广州人精神",到"开拓创新、诚信守法、务实高效、团结奉献"的"深圳精神",从"敢为人先、务实进取、开放兼容、敬业奉献"的"新时期广东人精神",到"厚于德、诚于信、敏于行"的"广东精神",岭南优秀传统文化是当代广东人文精神的重要支撑,为新时期广东文化建设提供着重要精神滋养。

Humanistic spirit is the affirmation of human values, the refl ection and promotion of human spiritual pursuit, and the concentrated expression of social and cultural spirit. Since the reform and opening up, Guangdong has cultivated a humanistic spirit with distinct epochal significance, which has greatly promoted the smooth progress of the reform and opening up. In fact, the construction of humanistic spirit is a dynamic process. Discussions of the spirit of Guangzhou, the spirit of Shenzhen, the spirit of the Cantonese in the new era, and the spirit of Guangdong, has significantly enriched the cultural construction of Guangdong in the new era. Meanwhile, Lingnan excellent traditional culture also provides important spiritual nourishment to the cultural construction in the new era in Guangdong.
