盘县会议:红二、六军团长征途中的战略转折

Panxian Meeting:A Strategic Turn of the 22nd andnd 66th Red Army Groups during the Long Marchth

1936年3月,长征途中的红二、六军团在贵州盘县召开湘鄂川黔省委和军分会联席会议,果断作出渡江北上,会合主力红军的决定,从而实现了进军方向和任务的战略转变。这不仅使二、六军团摆脱困境,也对克服张国焘分裂主义错误,实现三大主力红军大会师,起到了积极作用。盘县会议的成功,得益于领导核心的保障作用,集体领导的科学决策,以及军委的及时指示。盘县会议生动体现了老一辈共产党人不忘初心使命的崇高风范。

In March 1936, the 2nd and 6th Red Army Groups held a joint meeting in Panxian county of Guizhou Province attended by the Party committees of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou Provinces and the branches of the Central Military Commission during the Long March, at which a decisive action was made to cross the river and join the main force of the Red Army, and hence achieved a strategic turn in their direction and mission. This action not only pulled the two Groups out of predicament, but also played a positive role in getting rid of Zhang Guotao’s separatist mistakes and joining up the three main forces of the Red Army. The success of the Panxian meeting was attributable to the role of the leadership core, the sound decision made by the collective leadership, and the timely instructions of the Military Commission. Panxian Meeting embodied the lofty aspiration and mission held dear by the older generation of Chinese Communists.
