The China Southern Airlines Base maintenance hangar of Beijing New Airport has light weight steel roofs with large span which was designed as new flexible roofing system consisting of TPO waterproofing membrane,foam glass board insulation and pressed steel board.The article describes the system including features in design,construction technology and details.The theoretical calculation and practical application indicate that it has very good waterproofing and insulation performance,long life cycle and suitable for this kind of roofing system.
