As the cohesive manners of clan groups,generation name and rank,had different performances in daily appellation of Chinese ancient nations.The Han nationality had always strict generation name and rank in the Liao Dynasty due to the inheritance of traditional customs.Khitan,Bohai and Xi nationality named widely with generation name,and called even named with rank,their names obviously had the characteristics of mutual interaction between different ethnic groups from the situation of main ethnic groups in the Liao Dynasty.The generation name and rank reflected the convergence in their daily life,and also reflected that the Han's culture had a profound influence on other ethnic groups.
