It is the basic mission of education to foster morality and cultivate talents. This paper puts forward that the medical university library shoulder the mission to fostering morality and cultivating talents, making use of theadvantages of resources, environment and position, with the characteristics of medical education and medicalprofession, helping medical students to cultivate the overall situation thought, open thought of cooperation and sharing,thought of rules, thought of responsibility and innovation.
