故国新知:人类学在中国的早期传播

The Early Dissemination of Anthropology in China

20世纪初,伴随"西学东渐"大潮,"人类学"一词经由日本传播至中国,有关人类学的译介也逐渐见诸报刊。约从20世纪20年代起,关于人类学方面的论著在国内大量出现,同时许多西方人类学著作也不断被翻译到国内,这标志着人类学在中国的正式起步。20世纪20年代末,以国立中央研究院为开端,人类学学科建设得以启动。在众多学者、高校、研究机构的共同努力下,人类学在经历最初的介绍与传播,很快在国内"生根发芽",成为人文社会科学的重要组成部分。

In the early twentieth century,with the tide of western culture into the oriental,the term"人类学"(anthropology)was spread to China via Japan,and the translation and introduction of anthropology gradually appeared in newspapers and periodicals.Since 1920 s,anthropological works have appeared in China,and many western anthropological works have been introduced into China through translation,which marks the formal start of anthropology in China.With the spread of anthropology,in the late 1920 s,first in Academia Sinica,the construction of anthropology discipline started.With the joint efforts of many scholars,universities and research institutions,anthropology,after the initial introduction and dissemination,quickly took root in China and became an important part of the humanities and social sciences.
