Taking a Watch-making Class in Geneva

参观日内瓦著名的百达翡丽钟表博物馆,现场见到一个25岁的制表师,他骄傲地告诉我:从17岁那年我就学艺,钟表的机械声成了我生命的主旋律。学徒,学艺……原来这就是瑞士钟表业经久不衰的核心魅力。我一直想有没有可能也学学制表的工艺,尝试一下制表师的心路历程,终于有了这样的机会。

When visiting the famous Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva, I find a 25-year-old watchmaker on the site. He proudly tells me: "I began to learn watch-making crafts at the age of 17! The mechanical sound of horologes is the keynote of my daily life". Apprentice, craft learning…This is the core charm of the Swiss horologe industry. I always want to have the possibility to learn watch-making crafts and attempt to have a closer look at the watchmaker’s innermost journey. Finally I enjoy such a good opportunity.
