普通医学院校本科专业英语教学现状的调查与思考

The investigation and thought of undergraduate professional English teaching in general medical colleges

专业英语作为专业知识与信息传递的媒介,对于当今医学生的重要性不言而喻。尽管专业英语的教学日益受到重视,但其仍然是很多普通医学院校教学中的难点。通过对我校医学检验技术专业在读的大三学生、已毕业学生及专业英语授课教师进行问卷调查,以期了解我校医学本科生目前专业英语教学的现状,结果显示在专业英语的教学中存在着学生重视不足、师资力量薄弱、优秀教材匮乏、教法传统枯燥、评价方式单一等诸多问题,并针对这些问题进行了探讨,为同类院校进一步提高专业英语教学质量、促进专业英语教学改革提供参考。

As a media of professional knowledge and information transmission,medical English is vitally important to medical students today. Although the teaching of professional English has been paid more and more attention,it is still a difficult for many general medical colleges. In this paper,the questionnaire survey of junior students,undergraduates and teachers of medical laboratory technology was made to understand the current situation of professional English teaching for undergraduates. It is found that there existed several issues,such as insufficient attention of students,weak teachers,lack of excellent teaching materials,boring teaching methods and single evaluation method,and then these problems were discussed to provide further reference for the same kind of colleges to improve quality and promote reform of professional English teaching.
