图像的边缘是图像识别、图像分割与处理的基础,边缘携带图像的大部分信息,是图像研究的重点。边缘检测算法对进行高层次的特征描述、识别和理解等有着重大的影响。文章以Sobel算子为基础,进行多种阈值的设置进行图像边缘检测,论述了阈值在图像边缘检测中的重要性。得出自适应阈值的Sobel算子能更好的提取图像的边缘信息。

The edge of the image is the basis of image recognition, image segmentation and processing. The edge carries most of the information of the image, which is the focus of image research. Edge detection algorithms have a major impact on high-level feature description, recognition and understanding. In this paper, Based on the Sobel operator, performs a variety of threshold settings for image edge detection, and discusses the importance of threshold in image edge detection. The Sobel operator that derives the adaptive threshold can extract the edge information of the image better.
