Research on the Construction of a Chinese Ambassadors' Oral History Database

自1949年中华人民共和国成立以来,与我国建立外交关系的国家逐渐增多,我国驻外大使、外交官的总数量随之不断增长,大使们所经历的历史事件、工作经历、学习情况、生活点滴是我国外交事业的一笔重要财富,建成以新中国驻外大使口述史视频、大使们的工作业绩、著述、论文、照片等文献资源为主要内容的"中国驻外大使口述史"数据库意义重大。

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949,the number of countries that have established diplomatic relations with China has gradually increased.As the total number of Chinese ambassadors and diplomats overseas has continued to grow,the historical events,working and learning activities,and daily life experienced by the ambassadors have become an important asset to China’s diplomacy.It is of significant importance to build a database of"Chinese ambassador’s oral history"with the ambassador’s oral history video,their work performance,writings,essays,photographs and other resources.
