Legal Education for Students Majoring in Public Security from the Perspective of "National Standard"

2018年1月教育部颁布施行《普通高等学校本科专业类教学质量国家标准》,公安学类教学质量国家标准位列其中。把握国家标准精神,以提升法学教育教学质量为核心,优化法律课程教育;以突出学生为中心,强化实践教学,改革创新教学模式;完善公安类专业学生法律学习内容,打造法律文化校园氛围,提升公安类专业学生法治思维能力。

In January 2018, the Ministry of Education released the national standard on the teaching quality of higher education institutions, in which the standard for the majors of public security was listed along with other categories in undergraduate stage. It’s imperative to implement the principles of the national standard by improving the quality of legal education through the optimization of law curricula, strengthening practical teaching and innovating the teaching models, perfecting the legal education contents for students majoring in public security, creating a campus with strong legal culture, and enhancing public security students’ awareness of rule by law.
