In the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China’s diplomacy continues to innovate and develop in rich practice under the guidance of the independent and peaceful foreign policy. China’s diplomacy has made great achievements in the world, and gradually established the theoretical framework of the great power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics which considering the overall domestic and international situations as the general rule, realizing the Chinese dream of the nation’s great revival as the important mission, building the new model of international relations and the community of shared future as the Central task, taking the peaceful development as the strategic choice, seeking cooperation and win-win as the basic principle, building a global partnership network as the main path, practicing the correct view on righteousness and benefit as the value orientation, adhering to the Party’s centralized and unified leadership as the fundamental requirement. The theoretical framework of the great power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics provides a guide to action for the implementation of the great power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in a new era.
