唐英旗分身份考辨

Study on Tang Ying's Banner Class and Status

唐英作为中国千年一瓷人,其旗分和身份,《清史稿·唐英传》等载为"汉军旗人"。百余年来,均踵此说。本文据《钦定八旗通志》《八旗满洲氏族通谱》《清实录》等文献和碑刻、档案等资料,加以考据,做出辨正:唐英系八旗满洲正白旗包衣,即其旗分为"满洲正白旗",其身份为"包衣"。这也是他之所以能在御窑厂督陶期间,烧造出"唐窑"瓷器,并被誉为千年一瓷人的重要原因之一。

As a famous porcelain person in the history of millennium,Tang Ying's banner class and status was recorded as Chinese Bannerman in historical documents like Draft History of Qing.For more than a hundred years,it has been passed down according to this theory.Through combing the documents inscriptions such as Qinding Baqi TongZhi,Baqi Manchu Shizu Tongpu,The Records of Qing Dynasty and so on,we can conclude that Tang Ying belongs to the Manchu Plain White Banner,and his status is Baoyi.This is also one of the important reasons why he was able to fire "tang kiln"porcelain and known as millennial porcelain person during the period when he was in charge of the royal kiln.
