史以载道:关学传人与陕西地方志的修纂——以(民国)《续修蓝田县志》为例

Writing for Truth:the Guanxue Scholars and Local Chronicle Redaction——With Continued Redaction of Lantian County Chronicle(Republic of China) as an example

与史学家修撰的方志不同,理学家修撰的方志往往具有理学色彩,成为载道之具。民国年间,关学传人牛兆濂、张元勋、李铭诚修纂(民国)《续修蓝田县志》对旧有的类传体例进行了理学化解读,同时创造新的体例来适应理学的表达。理学家的修志活动使得作为史料的方志兼具了理学价值。

Different from local chronicles which was written by historians, those written by neo-Confucians was also a tool to show their thought. During the period of the Republic of China,Guanxue scholars like Niu Zhaolian, Zhang Yuanxun and Li Mingcheng wrote Continued Redaction of Lantian County Chronicle(Republic of China). They reinterpreted the used rules and set up new rules to show their thought. Meanwhile, new forms of expression were created to be in compatibility with the expression in neo-Confucianism. The activities of the neo-Confucians made the redaction of local chronicles as historical materials have neo-Confucian value.
