Zhu De's Ethnic Policy and Thought

红军长征期间,红军总司令朱德颁布了著名的"中国工农红军布告",在这一布告中提出了民族政策及其思想。新中国建立以后,朱德分别就以新疆和西藏为代表的民族地区以及山区政策进行了思考并作出了重要指示。这些思考和指示是朱德民族政策及其思想的正式形成,为后来党和政府的民族政策奠定了坚实的基础。朱德民族政策思想包括民族解放政策、尊重少数民族宗教和风俗习惯政策、群众路线政策、民族团结与统一战线政策、民族自治政策等内容。今天,朱德民族政策思想对维护中国作为一个统一多民族国家的团结、稳定和发展仍然有着重要和积极的现实意义,并为在新的历史时期构建中华民族共同体提供了历史基础。

During the Long March of the Red Army,Zhu De,Commander-in-Chief of the Red Army,promulgated the famous"Red Army Bulletin",in which he put forward ethnic policies and ideas. After the foundation of New China,Zhu De thought and gave important instructions on the policies of ethnic minority areas and mountainous areas represented by Xinjiang and Tibet respectively. These thoughts symbolized the formal formation of Zhu De’s ethnic policy and thought,which had laid a solid foundation for the later ethnic policy of the Party and the government. They include the policy of ethnic liberation,the policy of respecting minority religions and customs,the policy of mass line,the policy of ethnic unity and united front,and the policy of ethnic autonomy. Today,these thoughts still have important and positive practical significance for maintaining the unity,stability and development of China as a unified multi-ethnic country,and provides a historical basis for the construction of the Chinese nation community in the new historical period.
