陈寅恪任教西南联大蒙自分校时期的工作生活与思想情绪

Chen Yinque's Work,Life,Thinking and Emotion During the Period of His Teaching in Mengzi Branch of the Southwest Associated University

1938年4月至8月,作为清华大学聘任的教授,陈寅恪任教于西南联大蒙自分校中文系和历史社会学系。在蒙自分校,陈寅恪为中文系讲授了"佛教翻译文学"课程,为历史社会学系讲授了"晋南北朝史""晋南北朝隋唐史研究"课程。在教学之余,陈寅恪与蒙自分校的同事之间有较多的交往,或者讨论学术,或者议论时局,或者散步郊游。在蒙自期间,陈寅恪的思想和生活,在表面的平静中,隐含着沉重的忧愁、伤感、悲凉情绪,陈寅恪在蒙自所作的七首诗篇,记录和反映了他的这种思绪。陈寅恪的这些思绪既非多愁善感,也非无病呻吟,而是时代变迁、家国命运、个人性格综合作用的结果。作为史家和诗人,陈寅恪蒙自时期的诗作反映了国家民族危亡之际陈氏个人的深沉忧思与悲凉情绪。从陈寅恪的一生历程来看,从抗战爆发后随校南渡开始,陈寅恪告别了相对安定、平静、愉悦的前半生,开始了其忧患、动荡、悲苦的后半生。正因为此,蒙自分校时期以及之前的长沙临大时期是陈寅恪个人命运和生命历程的转折点。

From April to August of 1938,Professor Chen Yinque,as a professor recruited through invitation by Tsinghua University,taught in the department of Chinese and the department of history and sociology in Mengzi branch of the Southwest Associated University. In Mengzi branch,he taught the course of Buddhism translation literature in the department of Chinese,The History of Jin and the Southern and Northern Dynasties,and Research of Jin,the Southern and Northern Dynasties,Sui and Tang Dynasties History in the department of history and sociology. In his spare time,Chen contacted a lot with his colleagues of Mengzi branch,discussing the academia,or the present political situation,or taking a walk. During this period,Chen Yinque’s life was full of sadness and sentimental emotions,which could be reflected in the seven poems written by him. Those feelings were neither sentimental nor making a fuss about an imaginary illness,but the outcome of the change of the times,the destiny of families and countries and his personality. As a historian and a poet,Chen’s poems written in Mengzi branch reflected his deeply thinking and sentimental emotions when our nation was in peril. From the perspective of his life course,Chen Yinke said goodbye to the first half of his relatively stable,calm and happy life and began the second half of his misery,turbulence and sorrow from the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan. Just because of this,the periods of his teaching at Mengzi branch and at Changsha Temporary University were his turning point of his fate and life course.
