Strategies for HIV cure:progress and challenges

2018年4月27—28日,在北京香山召开了"艾滋病功能性治愈"的科学会议。国内外艾滋病临床和基础研究领域的50位顶级专家应邀出席会议,针对艾滋病治愈的研究进展和挑战等前沿问题展开深入研讨。该会议的主要内容包括:通过免疫重建技术探索艾滋病功能性治愈(疫苗和抗体治疗、艾滋病病毒特异性T细胞免疫治疗与CAR-T细胞治疗、免疫调节治疗、干细胞移植或整体免疫细胞治疗)和通过清除病毒库探索功能性治愈(组织中的病毒转录对艾滋病病毒持久存在的影响、干细胞移植或整体免疫细胞治疗)。

Xiangshan science conference was held in Beijing during April 27-28,2018,with the theme of"functional AIDS cure".Fifty top experts at home and abroad in the fields of clinical and basic research of AIDS were invited to attend the meeting.The research progress and challenges of AIDS cure,and the frontier issues were discussed in depth.The main contents of the conference included functional cure of AIDS through immune reconstruction technology(vaccine and antibody therapy,HIV-specific T-cell immunotherapy and CAR-T cell therapy,immunomodulatory therapy,stem cell transplantation or whole immune cell therapy),and functional cure through clearing the virus bank(tissue),and persistent effects of viral transcription on HIV,stem cell transplantation or whole cell immunization therapy.
