阿马尔那书信为古代埃及与西亚大国、叙巴地区小国之间的外交信函,反映了当时的西亚北非地区间的国家关系。第一号书信为埃及法老阿蒙霍特普三世写给巴比伦王卡达什曼恩利勒一世的驳斥信函,内容涉及外交联姻、使节忠诚、礼物交换、外交礼遇等问题,对于研究埃及-巴比伦关系具有重要史料价值。
The Amarna letters are diplomatic correspondence between Egypt and other great powers in the West Asia and Egypt and lesser states in Syro-Palestine,which represents inter-states relationship in the West Asia and the North Africa.EA 1 is a denounced letter sent by Amenhotep III,Egyptian Pharaoh,to Kadashman-Enlil I,the Babylonian King,which involves a series of issues such as diplomatic marriage,loyalty of envoys,gift exchange,and diplomatic treatment.It is of great historical value for the study of Egypt-Babylonian relations.
