摘要
The journal Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics (CJAL)is the official journal of China English Language Education Association (CELEA),the Chinese affiliate of AILA (International Association of Applied Linguistics).It's the only English language journal in China in the area of applied linguistics.It was initiated in 1978 by British Council (China)as ELTNewsletter.Later,it has been known as Teaching English in China,and CELEA Journal.The new title Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics has been used since the first issue of 2010.The international edition of the journal was launched in 2011 by de Gruyter Mouton, Germany and ditributed world-wide.The editor-in-chief of the journal,Prof.Wen Qiufang,also serves as Director of Academic Committee of Beijing Foreign Studies University and as President of CELEA.
