Pharmaceutical care for a multiple myeloma patient with serious bortezomib-induced peripheral neuropathy

抗肿瘤临床药师对1例使用硼替佐米后导致严重周围神经病变的患者进行药学监护,探索多发性骨髓瘤同类型化疗不良反应的药学监护方案。通过学习多发性骨髓瘤的临床指南、专家共识与最新文献等,熟练掌握该病种的常规化疗方案中治疗药物的药动学、药效学和药物治疗学等特点,积极应对患者的药物不良反应,对其周围神经病变的治疗提供药学支持,及时改善患者严重不良反应的症状,成功建议临床医师重新评估病情并参与制订患者的后期化疗方案。确保患者多程化疗方案的顺利进行,按计划完成治疗。临床药师通过对肿瘤患者进行个体化、全程化的用药监护,有效促了进临床合理用药。

Clinical pharmacists tried to explore an effective scheme of treatment-emergent for a patient with serious bortezomib-induced peripheral neuropathy(BiPN). We learned the clinical guidelines, consensus and current literature of multiple myeloma(MM) treatment, and mastered the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacotherapeutics of the chemotherapy drugs for MM. We gave the patient active pharmaceutical care for her Bi PN. Our pharmaceutical care for the MM patient showed a timely improvement of serious BiPN symptoms. We successfully recommended clinicians to re-evaluate the chemotherapy and participated in the follow-up treatment, which ensured the successful enforcement of the chemotherapy, and accomplished the therapy on schedule. Clinical pharmacists help promote the rational use of drugs by offering individual and integrated pharmaceutical care.
