Kuwaiti crude oil production has reached 2.8 million barrels per day,the highest since December 2016,S&P Platts quoted Kuwaiti Oil Minister Bakheet al-Rashidi's words.This figure is 90,000 barrels more than Kuwait's daily output in June;highlighting the difficulties faced by OPEC in rapidlyincreasing production to control prices.Analysts estimate that OPEC's total daily output in July increased by 70,000 barrels.OPEC is increasing oil production in order to curb exorbitant oil prices.
