Summarized Chief Physician YE Jiujin's experience in treating spleen and stomach diseases with de- scending methods.Proposed that in order to conforming the descending characteristic of stomach Qi and having a good treatment effect,on the basis of distinguishing the cold,heat,deficiency or excess and applying the warming,clearing, complementing and purging methods,add some descending TCM in the process of treating spleen and stomach diseases. The specific descending methods consist the dispelling cold with descending method,complementing deficiency with descending method,excreting turbidity with descending method,regulating the flow of vital energy with descending method and the bitter and acrid drugs with descending method.
