试论惯性思维对艺术创作的影响

Analysis of How the Inertial Thinking Influences the Creation of Art

文章受物理学中"惯性"的概念启发联想到心理学中的"惯性思维"现象。一方面,文章通过分析惯性思维的思维状态和它对认知行为的积极和消极两方面的影响,尝试以美国哲学家、教育家约翰·杜威的实用主义哲学理论为基础,以笔者本人的艺术创作经验及毕加索艺术创作历程为例证,论述艺术家的艺术创作如何在惯性思维的影响下形成了稳定的思维模式和成熟的技法;另一方面,物理学家、诺贝尔奖获得者伊利亚·普里戈金的著作《确定性的终结:时间、混沌与新自然法则》中"必然性"和"偶然性"的观点,启发了笔者对艺术作品及艺术创作过程中的必然性和偶然性的思考,认为艺术家的艺术作品无可避免地包含了艺术家的惯性思维的烙印。同时,文章提出释放冲动压抑是突破惯性思维状态下创作的重要因素,艺术家内在的压抑释放和外界作用力的影响会使创作充满偶然性和突破性,这也是艺术作品创新性的一种体现。

This paper is inspired by the concept of inertia in physics and associates with the phenomenon of inertial thinking in psychology. On the one hand,the paper is trying to analyze through the mental state of inertia and its influences to the cognitive behaviors from both positive and negative aspects,which references the American philosopher and educator,John Dewey's pragmatistic theory as the foundation.Based on the artist's own experience in the creation of art with the analysis to the process of Picasso's creation as the examples to discuss how the artists' creation can form a stable kind of thinking and a mature technique by the influences of the inertial thinking;On the other hand,the combination of the views of "inevitability"and "contingency"from the book,"in the end of certainty:time,chaos and new laws of nature"was written by the physicist and Nobel Prize winner,Ilya prigoggine that inspired the artist to think about the ideas of the inevitability and contingency in the works of art and the process of creating art.The artist thinks that the works of art inevitably contains the inscription from the artist's inertial thinking.Meanwhile,this paper proposes to release the repression of the impulses is an important factor in to break through the inertial state of thinking during the process of making art.Artists inner repression and external forces will make creation full of contingency and breakthrough which also can be seen as an embodiment of the innovation of creating art.
