摘要
由于不同民族有不同的历史、信仰、风俗习惯及价值观念,因此不同语言中的动物名词也具有不同的内涵。文章以英汉习语为例比较分析了英汉两种语言中的动物名词的不同文化内涵。
Because different nations have different history, different beliefs, different customs and habits and different views of value, the nouns indicating animals may have different connotations in different languages. Some English as well as Chinese idioms were listed out in this article to compare and analyze the different cultural connotations of nouns indicating animals in the two languages.
