摘要
图像增强是图像处理的一个重要组成部分,目的是为了消除原始图像边缘模糊的缺点,增强图像的视觉效果。文章介绍了一种基于图像内容的边缘增强算法,该算法以图像的整体象素分布为基础,压缩图像边缘区域的象素,扩展图像平坦区域的象素,从而达到突出边缘,提高图像清晰度的目的。
Image enhancement is a key part of image processing in order to sharpen the edge and optimize the visual quality of the input image.This paper proposes a image-dependent edge enhancement algorithm,which is based on the image content.Sharpening the edge of image is achieved by squashing the pixels in edge areas and stretching the pixels in flat areas.
