摘要
首先简要介绍了MobileIP并分析了MobileIP的各种切换算法,然后通过仿真研究了重叠小区内结合链路层检测信息的积极和消极切换算法的性能,通过对仿真结果的分析,当移动节点进行慢速往返移动时,宜采用结合链路层检测的积极切换算法;而当移动节点往返移动的速度较高时,结合链路层检测的消极切换算法能提供更高的性能。
This paper first introduces Mobile IP and its handoffs briefly.Then the performance of positive and negative handoffs combined with link layer movement detection algorithms in overlapping cells have been studied by simulation.The simulation results show that when the moving speed of mobile nodes is low,the positive handoff algorithm is preferred and when the speed is high,the negative algorithm can provide better performance.
