王灵台教授诊治肝硬化腹水有丰富经验 ,认为病机关键是气滞血瘀痰凝 ,治疗重点是审证攻补兼施 ,并强调治疗早期肝硬化腹水以疏肝健脾消导为主 ,中期以活血疏肝为主 ,危重期以调治肝脾肾三脏、行血利水为主。

In his rich experience in the treatment of liver cirrhosis,Prof.WANG Ling tai believes that the key of pathogenesis is qi stagnation and blood stasis and that the treament should be stressed to apply both the attacking and tonifying measures upon the symptoms,and stresses that the treatment is mainly given to soothe the liver,strengthen the spleen and promote digestion in the early stage of liver cirrhosis ascites,and to activate blood and soothe the liver in the middle stage and to regulate and treat the liver,spleen and kidney and circulate blood and remove water in the critical stage.Two proved cases were attached.
