Rule of Law, Politics and Rule of Morality

在现代社会 ,民主政治不能脱离开现代法治 ,而且 ,鉴于法治与社会客观发展之间的紧密联系 ,我国的德治实践也不应该把法治放在次要地位。不管是“讲政治” ,还是“以德治国” ,都应当维护宪法和法律的权威 ,都应当以兴民权、行民治为圭臬。

In modern society, democracy can't depart from the enfement of law. moreover, China should not subordinate the rule of lawto rule of morality whereas there are close connections between formal law and social development. So regardless of 'stressing politics' or 'rule by morality', China should maintain the authority of constiution and law, promote human and civil rights, and put rule of people into practice.
