佛教是成熟最早的世界性宗教 ,它历来注重伦理思想和道德实践。佛教伦理是一种蕴含有深刻智慧与哲理的宗教伦理 ,它有不容否定的积极作用 ;但它又以唯心主义和宗教神学为理论依据 ,又不可能没有消极作用。

Buddhism is a world religion that was early mature. It has always paid attention to ethical thought and moral practice. Buddhist ethics is a kind of religious one that contains profound wisdom and philosohy and has an undeniable active action. But it takes idealism and religinous theology as its theoritical foundation, so it is impossible for it to have not any passive action. To Buddhist ethics, we should adopt sublating manner with dialectical materialism.
